新华肉骨茶 - Jalan Peel, Kuala Lumpur

有蛮久的一段时间没去新华了 。一半原因也是因为Queen's Park拆了。不确定它的新址。
它的肉骨茶确实有它自己的独特之处。我喜欢。






















D想要吃啦啦,老板娘就帮我们点了这道上汤啦啦。
啦啦新鲜,当然不在话下。就是嫌汤的味道淡了一点。酒味也不太浓烈。





















这道清蒸非洲鱼,我的最爱。就不只为什么,我特别喜欢它们家的蒸鱼。




















这顿午餐就吃了RM57+... 唉~~

半三芭为食街 - 炸鸡

传说中,半三芭为食街最多人排队的炸鸡档。



我要了炸鸡翅,和鸡肫(Chicken Gizzard)... 脆到~~~ 好吃!

从小老妈子时不时都会跟我说半三芭为食街有很多好吃的。由其是那里的猪杂粥。
这次,有地头虫Peggy带路。我终于可以一尝其滋味了。
这唯一的糖水摊档,摆了整三十年。其功力可想而知。



鸡蛋茶.... 很好喝!顺喉到~~~ 甜度刚好!很棒!才RM 1.90呐...


炖蛋.... 最好卖,也是必点之一。现在很难吃到了。
吃了一口,就停不了口了!赞!RM 1.90/一碗

龙记猪肉汉堡 (茨厂街)

今天跟LJ去了一趟茨厂街,听Peggy说了很多次,这次终于给自己买了一份。

打包回到家,就变成这样子了。还好味道还不错。重要的是,它不太咸,也没有很重的猪肉味。

配上辣椒酱和Mayonese... 味道是好的。我喜欢。^^

Heun Kee Claypot Waxed Meat Rice

CNY.. without tasting some Lap Mei Fan (腊味饭).. macam la feeling a little lost, hehe...

The best so far for me.. cheaper and the most original way of making it from Heun Kee!

Boss was telling me, she had been doing this for more than 20 years now. So, what else can say other than GOOD!! ^^



I like the Pig Stomach Soup here.. (猪肚汤)

Heun Kee Claypot Chicken Rice

My favourite Claypot Chicken Rice in KL!
Located next to the Sg. Besi & Pudu road roundabout for over 20 years now.



If to compare with others, the price here is slightly higher. But I think it is so much worth the price. :)


What makes the claypot chicken rice here special is that the rice is cooked with a soup poured into it. Usually most places will cook the rice with water but here the added taste to the rice comes from the soup. The rice is firm and not overly burnt at the bottom so you don't end up with a thick layer of crust at the bottom of the pot.


Sai lei Shun Mui.. this is the name of the this drink. A sour & sweet drinks. Goes very well with the chicken rice!

The salted fish is soaked in sesame oil before you mix it up into your rice. That gives it an extra oomph as well.


We also had a pepper pig stomach soup which was excellent as well. The smell and the taste of the soup was simply terrific and the pig stomach simply to die for.


I'm so ready for it now!! and this is suppose for 1 person. But we have to shared it!!.. Look at the big pieces of chicken!! so juicy & fresh!! ^^
